We are a community based around hacking, programming, and advanced computing. All content on this site is free, open source, and made available according to the ideals of various Internet policies (bar our CMS, lulz). Here at GNY, we try to look past all the bullshit and focus on what's really important: learning, applying, and having fun. We do not condone script kiddies, unlike many other sites. What else do you need?

Joining our community is quick, easy, and free, so why not? Check out the forum, register an account, and soak in the pwn. :)

There are currently:

  • 624 registered members
  • 12 scripts in the code bank
  • 13 user-submitted articles

We're back!

After a long period of downtime, we are back and now hosted by rest0re!

Failures of the Internet

Our ex-affiliate (thank god) www.k0h.org (administrated by K1u) seems to be at it again. His elite whois-ing skills are too much for the Internet to handle, and anything of this magnitude must of course be posted on the front page of his blog.

*ahem*

"Quit with the fail attempts you skiddies. The funny thing is I actually posted a contest at darkc0de a couple days back, telling their "1337" community to hack my site, after over 100 views, no one could complete the challenge which was to post my decrypted admin hashes on the front page of the site. I believe d3hydr8 deleted the topic, most likely thinking it was a ploy for more traffic."

Update and More

The CMS now requires membership to view or interact with its features. This means that if you haven't already, it is time to go register! We are glad to have broken the 100 member mark and would like to see the count get even higher!

We need ideas for a future IRC lecture! Join us on our IRC to let us know what your ideas are.

Project Hosting

The hosting we planned to offer for open-source projects is ready!
Submit you projects here: http://www.gonullyourself.org/main/requestproj.php
Your project will be reviewed, and you will receive a reply via e-mail that telling you if it was accepted or not. If it is accepted, we will include login details and the location of where your static html page is. In addition, we will upload your project for you and include the link to download it. Go get your projects hosted now!

By the way, the forum upgrade is still being worked on, just hold on for a bit until we get everything converted!

A Few Words...

Hey all, just wanted to mention that Grymstone's hardware hacking lecture is in the articles section, so go check it out. He's taking requests for further hardware lectures, so leave a message in the forum or IRC if you have a suggestion.

Speaking of the forum, we're tearing down this piece of shit phpBB and putting up a vBulletin. It should be online and functional within the next few days. Most of the time will be used making the theme.

One last thing: ZF0 #4 is out, so head on over to here if you wanna lul.

Updates

Our server got a network upgrade, so bring on the DDoS. :) Also, the forum was changed around a bit, VIP updated, and the projects page is going under for renovation. We are going to host a few open-source projects, allowing them to have an editable html, essentially a mini Sourceforge.

It's been a bit since GNY v2 came out, so our promotions are coming to a close. You will soon have to register on the site (literally a minute to complete) in order to view our content. It really is worth it.

Grymstone has agreed to have an IRC lecture in #gny about hardware hacking. It should be coming up within a week or so.

IRC Lectures

Yesterday we had a lecture on SQL Injection (transcript here) and at some point later today will hold one on PHP Security. Make sure to tune in to the IRC Channel to be there for it! These are being held in honor of GNY v2's release and will become more common as GNY v2 evolves.

In other news, these lectures have gained some attention and were noted here on Cheer10s.com. Enjoy the lectures!
